The event brings together researchers and industry professionals around carefully developed themes in sustainable finance. Through short presentations, academic reflections, and discussions, participants will explore open research questions reflecting current industry challenges. The aim is to spark new ideas, inspire research projects, and foster collaboration across disciplines and between academia and industry.
Developed by SFL’s industry partners, the programme features 30 proposed research topics grouped into five thematic areas:
- Climate, nature and the real-economy transition
- Investment analysis, data and portfolio design
- Stewardship, corporate governance and investor responsibility
- Sustainability regulation, disclosure and market integrity
- Sustainable finance, business models and societal challenges
These topics serve as starting points for independent research. Participating researchers decide their own questions, scope, and methodologies, with all results expected to be published freely.
